Let’s Get to Know You & Your Pets
Every new Willow & Wag relationship begins with a friendly Meet & Greet.
Before starting dog walking, pet sitting or overnight care, we’ll arrange a visit to your home so we can meet you and your pets, learn about their individual needs and talk through the care you’re looking for.
Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for your pets to meet us… and for you to feel completely comfortable with the people who’ll be caring for them.
🐶 What Happens at a Meet & Greet?
We’ll come to your home and spend some time getting to know you and your pets in an environment where they feel comfortable.
We’ll chat about things such as:
🐾 Your pet’s personality and temperament
🐾 Their usual daily routine
🐾 Likes, dislikes and favourite things
🐾 Feeding and dietary requirements
🐾 Walking habits and behaviour
🐾 Recall and lead walking
🐾 Any medication or individual care requirements
🐾 Home access and keys, where applicable
🐾 Emergency contact information
🐾 Anything else you’d like us to know
There’s no rush… it’s all about making sure we have the information we need to provide care that’s right for your individual pet.
❤️ Why We Meet First
We believe trust is incredibly important when you’re choosing someone to care for your pets.
For dogs joining us for walks, meeting beforehand gives us the opportunity to start building a relationship before we head out together.
For pet sitting, it allows your pets to meet us in their own home while you’re still there and gives us the chance to understand their normal routine.
It also gives you the opportunity to meet us, ask any questions and make sure Willow & Wag feels like the right fit for you and your pets.
🐾 What Happens Afterwards?
Once we’ve had our Meet & Greet and everyone’s happy, we can arrange your first dog walk, pet sitting visit or upcoming overnight stay.
We’ll have all the information we need to start getting to know your pets and provide care that’s tailored around them.
And because we’re a small husband-and-wife team, you’ll always know who’s caring for your pets.
