š¾ About Me
Hi, Iām Jenny, the face behind Willow & Wag.
I live on Broad Street in New Alresford with my husband Dave and our two young boys. Although Iāve always lived in the Hampshire countryside, I moved to Alresford when I met Dave, who has lived here his whole life, and we feel incredibly lucky to now be raising our family here.
We spend as much time as possible outdoors, whether itās long countryside walks, bike rides, or trips to the park. With beautiful countryside and river walks right on our doorstep, itās the perfect place for both family life and happy dogs.
My love of animals started at a very young age, and Iāve been surrounded by dogs my whole life. Growing up, our family had Border Collies, Retrievers, a Dalmatian and even a Great Dane. Later, when Dave and I got married, Dudley the miniature schnauzer joined our family… and he quickly became a much-loved part of it.
I followed this passion through my studies, gaining a National Diploma in Animal Management from Sparsholt College. During this time, I gained hands-on experience working with a wide range of animals, including time spent on a rare breeds farm, in a veterinary practice, and at a dog groomers.
Although my career later took me in a different direction, my passion for working with animals never went away. Now that my boys are at school, Iāve taken the opportunity to return to what I truly love… working with dogs in the outdoors.
Thatās how Willow & Wag was born: combining my love of the countryside, fresh air (whatever the weather!), and caring for dogs.
I understand that dogs arenāt just pets, theyāre part of the family. Thatās why I take the time to get to know every dog as an individual, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for on every walk.
I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon.
